Republicans host their fourth debate without the presence of the leading candidate

Donald Trump continues to lead in the polls by a large margin

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Wednesday night will be a night full of attention grabbing by four Republican presidential hopefuls. NewsNation will host the fourth and final GOP primary debate at 8pm E.T.

Live from the University of Alabama, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy are set to appear.

Former President Donald Trump has not attended any of the previous three debates and will not be present at this fourth debate as well. Trump instead will be in Florida hosting a fundraiser. Trump has been the leading candidate in various polls. CBS News has Trump leading with 61%, Governor Ron DeSantis following with 18%, Nikki Haley at 9%, Vivek Ramaswamy at 5% and Chris Christie at 2%.
